Thames Valley school board looking for feedback from staff, students, families

The Thames Valley District School Board launched a pair of online comment boxes Wednesday in an effort to collect feedback on how the 2020-2021 school year has been going.

One box is tailored to students and their families, while the other is designated for staff.

“We know that this year has been challenging, and that is why we want to offer you a way to tell us how things are going and provide suggestions as they arise,” said the board in a statement. “This will allow us to continue to serve our students, families and staff members in the best ways possible.”

The comment boxes collect information on what type of learning students and teachers are engaged in, be it in-person, full remote, or a hybrid of the two for high school students. There’s a general poll on how the school year is going, ranked from one to five.

The survey also asks about areas where staff, students and families would like more support from the board. Comments can also be submitted.

The online comment boxes will remain active until the end of the school year on June 15, 2021.
