Sherwood Secondary School closed Monday because of police matter
Hamilton’s public school board says the Sherwood Secondary School building will be closed Monday in order to “support a police matter.”
Learning will continue online following students’ regular timetables, according to Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board spokesperson Shawn McKillop.
“Our priority is that the students can learn remotely as we support the police’s work,” he wrote in an email, directing further questions about the situation to police.
The service did not immediately respond to questions about the situation.
The board says information about when the school will reopen will be shared as soon as possible.
