Hamilton police say the driver of a pickup truck that hit and killed a 64-year-old pedestrian won’t face charges.
The woman was struck while crossing the road near King Street East and James Street North around 9 p.m. on April 7.
Police previously said the driver of the truck stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
The woman was taken to hospital, but later died of her injuries.
On Wednesday police said the collision reconstruction unit had completed its investigation and determined no charges will be laid.
