The Thunder Bay District Health Unit announced one new confirmed case of COVID-19 Saturday.
That brings the total number of cases in the district to 78, with 68 of those considered resolved by the TBDHU.
The case revealed Saturday is a man in his twenties in Thunder Bay or the surrounding area.
The health unit said the man acquired the COVID -19 virus through close contact with an existing confirmed case.
He is said to be self-isolating at home.
So far, the COVID -19 has been confirmed as that cause of one death in the district.
