Kenora man, 26, identified as victim of single vehicle collision near Ear Falls, Ont.

A 26-year-old man from Kenora, Bryan Marcyniuk, has been identified as the victim of a single vehicle collision Wednesday afternoon on Highway 105 near Ear Falls, Ontario Provincial Police(OPP) announced Friday.

Shortly before 4:00 p.m. April 15 a southbound van left the road and struck several trees, OPP said.

Officers from the Red Lake / Ear Falls detachments and off-duty Northwest Emergency Medical Services (EMS) all responded to the collision.

Marcyniuk, who was the lone occupant of the van, was declared dead at the scene, police said.

OPP are continuing to investigate the cause of the collision.
