B.C. fugitive Brandon Nathan Teixeira, charged with first-degree murder in the death of 28-year-old Nicholas Khabra, has been extradited to Canada.
The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) announced Friday night that Teixeira is back on Canadian soil after being extradited from the United States following his apprehension and arrest on Dec. 1, 2019 in Oroville, California.
IHIT says Teixeira is facing several criminal charges, including first-degree murder for the death of Nicolas Khabra, who was shot and killed in Surrey in Oct. 2017.
Teixeira’s next court appearance in B.C. Provincial Court will take place at a later date.
